About Angel Rhodes

I am first and foremost an avid music lover and I enjoy working in music in any capacity. I love teaching adults and children because it provides inspiration and meaning in my life, and I love to perform to improve my musicianship and technical skills.  Because of this, I am both a passionate teacher and performer. Pushing myself as a performer allows me to grow as a violinist which improves my knowledge and skills as a teacher, and teaching allows me to connect with a community and music in a deep meaningful level that motivates my growth as a performer. I have taught across the country as a Suzuki Violin teacher and a private violin and viola instructor. I have taught at Orchard Park Music Boosters and Orchard Park Suzuki Strings, Buffalo Suzuki Strings, and Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver. I also teach for community outreach programs so I am able to reach students from a variety of backgrounds. I am also a member of orchestras such as the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra and Fort Collins Symphony in Colorado, and have performed with Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra in Wyoming. I continue to regularly play with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and have been a featured soloist for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchard Park Symphony. In my free time, I love exploring the outdoors and observing wildlife.
