About Anna Riggenbach
Get to know Anna Riggenbach
Anna is originally from Poland. She started playing piano at the age of six. Her music education includes primary and secondary schools of music and the Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Poland. She studied piano with professor Grzegorz Kurzynski and received her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance. Anna participated in various piano workshops and courses, studying with Maria Szraiber, Adam Wibrowski, Grzegorz Kurzynski and Wojciech Kocyan. She also took part in piano and chamber competitions and concerts including piano competitions in Krakow and Piotrkow Trybunalski, Poland, an international chamber music competition in Heerlen, Holland and a piano half-recital in Dresden, Germany.
Anna gained performance experience playing piano in classical trios on cruise ships. She has also been accompanying students at recitals, exams, and competitions.
Anna has 15 years of teaching experience. She started teaching piano in schools of music and preschools in Poland. After moving to the United States, she began teaching piano at music studios as well as a Montessori school. She has been successfully preparing students for recitals, National Federation of Music Clubs Festivals (NFMC), and the Royal Conservatory of Music exams (RCM). All of Anna’s students have received superior ratings. Anna has been teaching piano at Music & Arts since 2011.
