Teaching Experience: Five years teaching Drums and Percussion at the Armed Forces School of Music, Norfolk Virginia. Taugh contemporary drumming courses at the Grove school of music Los Angeles CA. Day jams summer camps for three years. Has taught privately for the last 20 years.

Get to know Anthony DeAugustine
- Tony DeAugustine has been playing drums since grade school and has performed with many artists including Grammy award winners Dennis DeYoung, Irene Cara, Sebastian Bach, Carl Anderson, Tony Award Winners, Ben Vereen, Leslie Uggams, as well as Kevin Spacey Bobby Darin Concerts and School of Rock’s Jack Black. The award winning Australian pop group Human Nature. Tony has played on pre-records for the American Music Awards as well as the Academy Awards, recorded Broadway albums at Abbey Rd., Studios UK and dozens of TV show themes and jingles in Los Angeles and Hollywood. He has played for Broadway shows such as the lion king, Swing, follies, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Producers, Spamalot Dream Girls and many others. He currently enjoys a vast array of musical situations, recording work and concert work as well as writing and performing music with his own band the Tony DeAugustine quartet. He has taught Drums at the Armed Forces school of music and the Dick Grove school of music, Day Jams summer music camps and has just completed his own educational series of drum books which can be purchased on tonydeaugustine.com
