About Art Rubio

Hi there! My name is Art Rubio, I am a guitar instructor from El Centro, California with over 12 years of experience as a guitar player. In those 12 years I’ve performed, taught, and have been a music student myself! My latest achievement completed as a student is a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music from California State University Los Angeles. My performing experience ranges from local and regional performances with regional acts, to playing all over the United States and Europe most notably with the band The New Division. While pursuing a degree, and being a touring musician, I was also an after school guitar instructor for the El Centro Elementary School District and Alhambra Unified School District for 5 years which led me to create a tried and true lesson plan that has worked for students of all ages.
