Teaching Philosophy: Music has always been a love and a passion of mine since I was a middle schooler. I am so thankful that I have been given the opportunity to teach students those same morals and values here at Music&Arts.
Get to know Avery Jeffeaux
Hello!
I grew up in the Upstate of Greenville, South Carolina. I started to play Trumpet when I was in 6th grade and have loved it ever since. I attended North Greenville University where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education. I have experience with Trumpet, French Horn, and Baritone. I also have experience with Clarinet and Basic Percussion (Snare Drum and Mallets).
I moved to Columbia in 2022 where I am currently the band director at Ben Lippen School. The best part about teaching music for me is being able to share my love for music with my students as well as making music a fun experience for them.
My Hobbies include hanging out with family and friends, running and hiking, and playing video games!
