About Ben Orlin

Ben Orlin is a Trumpeter, Audio Producer & Engineer, and Educator. Growing up in West Seattle, Ben started playing trumpet in 4th grade and never turned back. He attended middle & high school in the Seattle Public Schools district, where he was involved in Jazz, Symphonic, and Marching band since the start of 6th grade. Furthering his music education, he graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2021 with a BM in Music Production & Engineering. He started his teaching career in the fall of 2021, directing the Jazz band at Robert Eagle Staff Middle School in North Seattle. During his two years there, he taught private trumpet lessons and also took over as a long-term substitute for all levels of Symphonic & Jazz band. Ben's played with a variety of different bands, including styles of Jazz, Pop, Latin, Symphonic, R&B, Hip Hop, and New Orleans style Brass Band. He loves to share his passion for music with his students, and thoroughly enjoys making connections through shared musical interests.
