Performance Experience: Benjamin Sharp is a cellist and string teacher who has performed in orchestras across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He recently moved to Asheville and currently plays as a section cello member with the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra.
Teaching Experience: Benjamin has taught string lessons for over 10 years on violin, viola, and cello. He is passionate about making lessons fun and fulfilling. He is currently working towards Suzuki certification and is very experienced in teaching the Suzuki method, but loves all genres of music and can help you progress in any style of music.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe teaching should be both accessible and engaging for all students. Every student has different ways of learning, and as a teacher it is most important to tailor the lesson to the individual needs of each student so that we can have a fulfilling musical experience.
