About Brian Morgan

Hello, my name is Brian and I am a freelance low brass specialist and educator. Growing up in Portland, Oregon, I studied with local professionals David Bryan (Portland Opera, Oregon Ballet Theatre) and Ben Medler (Shanghai Whoolies, Portland Youth Jazz Orchestra). I have been earning a living as a musician since 2013, performing globally with Broadway musicals (Elf; A Bronx Tale), cruise lines (Celebrity Cruises, Cunard Lines, Regent Seven Seas, Norwegian Cruise Lines), regional theatre (Palace Theatre, Winnipesaukee Playhouse), classical orchestras (Central Oregon Symphony, Riverside Symphony), and rock bands (Nogu Svelo).

My lessons are tailored to each student with the goal of building good foundational technique, solid practice habits and most of all a love and appreciation for music and the instrument. I bring a wealth of experience in all musical styles to my students, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
