Hello, my name is Broderick Robinson. I am a Washingtonian, master drummer/percussionist, and a recording artist. I was inspired by my mother Mrs. Dorothy Chappell, who was also pianist. At the age of 7, I studied percussions/drums at The DC Music Center located in Washington DC under the instruction of the late, great Mr. Jimmy Hicks and other great instructors. At the age of 19, I became the percussion/drum instructor for the DC Music Center for 15 years. I am now the Master percussion/drum instructor for The Music and Arts Association located in Waldorf Maryland. I have 57 years of experience as a percussionist/drummer and been a percussion/drum instructor for over 40 years. My favorite drummers are Dave Weckl, Omar Hakim, and Dennis Chambers. All who are professional drummers.
I am currently a ordain Reverend and member of The Tree Of Life Christian Ministries (TOLCM) located in Clinton Maryland under the leadership of Pastors James and Marcia Robinson. I strives to carry out my musical mission which is to uplift, encourage, and enhance the lives of children through my musical skills.
I have been married to my best friend Tammy Robinson for 36 years, and we have 4 sons Brokeem, Derrick, Erick, and Reginald. I also play bass and rhythm guitar. I love the Lord, my family, children, and I love sharing my God given gift with people.
