I am here to guide my students, I am not here to force them into something they do not want to be. I want to hear everything that you want to do with music, and then show you how to realize it.

Hello! I am an instructor here at Music and Arts, teaching guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, trumpet, trombone, tuba, and music composition! I have 18 years experience playing and performing music, and have recorded professionally everything from jazz to country with artists such as The Noctambulant and Nick Brennan. In lessons with me, we work together to achieve tangible goals that we will set for you on a week by week basis, and develop plans that work with the type of playing or piece that you are trying to learn. I love learning from my students as much as I love teaching them, so please be encouraged that I am open to any genre or style imaginable to teach you. I have a Bachelors of Music in Composition from Jacksonville University, and I am currently in graduate school at The New England Conservatory of Music.
