About Bryce

Get to know Bryce
Bryce Cunningham is a vibrant educator hailing from Durham, North Carolina. Bryce received his Bachelor's of Arts from the illustrious Elizabeth City State University in December 2020 and is currently working toward his Education Licensure at North Carolina Central University. While studying in undergrad, he became a proficient saxophone player, studying on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone voices of the instrument. Through his studies, he became familiar and well versed in multiple styles and nuances of the instrument. Bryce spent one year marching alto saxophone in the Sound of Class Marching Band before switching to low brass. Being self-taught in euphonium, Bryce served as section leader for his collegiate section from 2018-2020. While in undergrad. Bryce also became a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Inc. in the Spring of 2018. Currently, Bryce serves as the Assistant Band Director at Riverside High School in Durham, NC, as well as a music arranger for multiple ensembles across the state of North Carolina.
