About Caitlin Mcguire

Caitlin McGuire’s journey with music first began at age 9 when she started taking flute lessons. Once in high school, she also began piano lessons to further her love and knowledge of music. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Appalachian State University and became a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Her 6 month internship was completed at Springfield Hospital Center in Sykesville, Maryland.

Caitlin moved out to Reno, Nevada as a music therapist to work with and teach music lessons to people of all ages and abilities. She missed her roots in NOVA and took a road trip across the country to move back. Shortly after, she began teaching lessons at Twinbrook and Reston Music. She enjoys empowering her students to take pride in themselves and their skills as musicians as they grow.
