About Cameron Beaver

I am an excited and passionate performer/teacher who loves to share my love for music with everyone that I can! I graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 2015 and owe all of my passion for what I do to my former band director, Bart Tulbert. Later in 2015 I started my journey as a Music Performance major in trumpet, and within a few more years, all the work will have finally paid off! As of right now I am a junior and I am taking a small break from school just to help myself be ready for my post-graduation life. I have experience playing in many different settings including Orchestras, Jazz Combo groups, large Jazz ensembles, musicals(pit orchestra), cover bands and much more. I have enjoyed traveling the east coast to perform all across the states. Another musical passion of mine is Marching Band/Drum Corps. I have taught Marching band at multiple schools now, and this year I will be with Central Cabarrus High School under an old friend from high school. Along with marching band I also have a few years experience in drum corps, and if that's a passion anyone else has I would gladly guide them on how to audition well for it as well! Whether it be playing, Marching or even just helping you to prepare things to pack for an audition/tour. I have Marched with the Colts, a group from Drum Corps International in the year 2014, and also Marched with Carolina Gold in 2017-2019 The group earned 2 World Championships in 2018 and 2019. I'm more than excited to meet many new faces and help them follow their passions whatever it may be!
