About Carl

Carl Fong is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education at California State University, Fullerton. He has been playing trumpet and piano for over 10 years and has taught in various places. Carl has performed with both the Cal State Fullerton Wind Symphony and Symphonic Winds as well as the Gold Drum and Bugle Corps in the summer of 2017. In addition to teaching at Music and Arts, Carl has taught as a visual and brass instructor at Centennial and Tustin High School. He actively works to improve his compositional skills and strives to learn as many instruments as possible. Having studied under Kye Palmer and Sycil Mathai at Cal State Fullerton, Carl has learned concepts and techniques that he hopes to pass on to his current and future students.
