Performance Experience: Carlos has performed around the Midwest, Texas and PR in a wide variety of styles: as a solo classical guitarist, pop/rock electric guitarist, Latin popular and folk guitar, Brazilian music guitar accompanist and lead player, and more.
Teaching Experience: Carlos has been teaching many styles (rock, classic rock, classical, Latin music, etc.) of guitar music for over 25 years to all kinds of students, from young kids to retirees. A few of those students have gone on to successfully audition for college music programs.
Teaching Philosophy: Music is a language that anyone can enjoy. I strive to make sure that my students have fun and learn to love music, are constantly challenged, learn proper technique, and get to eventually express themselves efficiently through their instrument.
