Education: B. Music Education from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia Masters of Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia Certified to teach music PreK—12 in Georgia Certified to teach elementary school K-5 in Georgia Certified to teach English as a Second Language K-5 in Georgia

Performance Experience: I have played for churches in the north Atlanta area over the years. I gave my first recital last year since college! I do perform periodically for for a soirée in Roswell and also during student recitals, including Zoom recitals.

Teaching Experience: Over 30 years in the Woodstock, Roswell, and Alpharetta areas.

Teaching Philosophy: I love finding out a student’s favorite pieces so we can work on them. My goal is to motivate students using music they love and then incorporate basic music skills. If a student is happy and engaged, he or she will become more involved with practicing and playing! I love teaching all ages, especially beginner and intermediate students.
