Education: Bachelor's degree in Music with concentrations in Music Education and Jazz Studies from Westfield State University. Initial Licence in Music Education for students K-12.
Performance Experience: Experience playing in various jazz combos, pit bands, wind ensembles and string ensembles. Currently performing with funk band "Shokazoba."
Teaching Experience: Experience teaching guitar, ukulele and flute at various music studios. Experience teaching general and instrumental music at public schools.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe in teaching towards the students' personal goals as well as providing a strong musical foundation. Depending on the students' interests, I teach the essential elements of music through using music that the student enjoys. I love playing and teaching all genres of music and working with students of all different ability levels.
