Teaching Experience: Various Local High School bands, The Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps, Teaching Assistant with the Temple Diamond band and Collegiate band and private instruction on his major instrument.
Teaching Philosophy: A balanced approach to teaching brass guided by a student's individual needs and interests.

Get to know Chris Liounis

Chris is an experienced performer, educator, and brass pedagogue in the Philadelphia area. A graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania (B.M. Music Performance) and Temple University (M.M. Music performance) his major instrument is tuba. He has performed with bands, and orchestras across the Philadelphia region and remains an active freelance musician. Chris also is an experienced educator teaching several high school groups as well as the world champion Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle corps. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his rescue dog boo, learning about nature, movies, and video games.
