Performance Experience: Guitar juries, several different coffee house performances throughout the years, and one tour with his classmates at the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, TN during his last semester of college.
Get to know Chris Nicholas
Raised in North Carolina most of his life, Chris started playing music at 9 years old, with trumpet being his first instrument. After a few years of learning trumpet, Chris dropped the instrumental completely and moved on to guitar, which he has played ever since. Chris has learned several different styles/genres of music in his 13 years of playing, including rock, metal, blues, and classical. Chris' musical knowledge has also expanded since playing guitar, learning mandolin, bass guitar, piano, and singing, though his primary instrument will always be guitar. When he's not playing music, Chris likes to spend his free time reading as well as playing video games online with friends.
