      Christina Blain
      Music Teacher, Expert
      Location: El Centro, CA
      Speaks: English
      Instructs: Piano
Education: Bachelor's Degree of Music at Judson College
Performance Experience: Played a piano recital for my Junior Recital in college. Performed a piece at a recital for students.
Teaching Experience: Teaching since 2015. Taught private lessons, online (both private and group), and group classes. Ages 4+
Teaching Philosophy: I believe every student is different. I teach my lessons out of a lesson book and branch off from that and help the individual students learn that lesson a different way. I believe theory is very important as well as allowing the student to learn by sight-reading and ear training. Each semester, I allow my students to learn pieces they want to learn and pieces I believe will help them advance further.

      Get to know Christina Blain

Hello! My piano-playing journey began when I was around 10-11 years old. I took piano lessons up until I was in 8th grade. Came back to piano my second year of college and loved it again. I learned so much and wanted to learn all that I can there. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Music at Judson College in Marion, Alabama. I used that degree to start teaching students in 2015. Ever since then, I have helped all my students learn to not only read music but to love and enjoy playing and learning. I enjoy listening to classical, Lofi, movie soundtracks, Disney, and video game soundtracks.
