About Christina Link
Get to know Christina Link
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Christina Link grew up in a very musical household. Her father was a tenor in the Pittsburgh Opera and her mother was a pianist. Ms. Link began her musical journey at the age of 4 when she started the violin and piano. She found a deep connection with music which led her to explore many other instruments including the mandolin, organ, ukulele, voice, lap dulcimer, electric violin, and the lute.
Ms. Link attended Clarion University of PA and earned degrees in Psychology and Music with aspirations of being a music therapist. It was during her undergraduate work that she began teaching and found this to be a very fulfilling path.
Ms. Link uses her psychology background to connect with all ages and abilities and specializes in those with special needs, including those on the autistic spectrum. She enjoys playing a variety of styles of music including classical, pop, bluegrass and new age. In her free time, she most enjoys singing while accompanying herself on piano.
