      Get to know Clay Brown

      Clay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music. He has been teaching private guitar and saxophone lessons full-time for over 20 years in Massachusetts. In addition to his teaching experience, Clay has over 20 years of performance experience throughout New England. He has played in numerous rock, blues, and jazz bands, including Lights Out (winners of the 2018 New Hampshire Blues Challenge), The Cobra Kings, Pat Halpin and The 351s, and the Milestones Jazz Orchestra, among others. At Berklee, he studied jazz saxophone with Billy Pierce, Andy McGhee, and Fred Lipsius, as well as jazz and blues guitar with Mike Williams and Johnny Lawrence.
