Get to know Cliff
Clifford Kee started playing bass at the age of 15. However, he didn’t consider pursuing a career as a musician seriously until he heard Jaco Pastorius’ Portrait of Tracy at the age of 20. Kee studied at the County College of Morris with a focus in Music Production. After receiving his Associates of Science, he transferred to Drexel University to study Elementary Education. While attending Drexel, he began performing with the institute’s gospel choir. Graduating in 2010, Clifford focused on becoming a teacher primarily. In his pursuit to acquire his own classroom from 2010-2016, Kee gained experience with edifying children in grades Pre-K to 2nd Grade. Nevertheless, he played around the NJ/NY/PA areas while persuing a career as a school teacher. In the summer of 2017, Clifford decided to pursue music full-time. As a musician, Clifford Kee shared the stage with Andra Day, Bobbi Humphrey, Alyson Williams, Force MD’s, and Dottie Peoples.
