Get to know Craig
I have been a full-time, professional music musician since 1995. My main instrument is anything with frets along with piano a strong second. From classical to jazz, blues to bluegrass, country to rock, jam-band to metal, I attain to play it all. I have recorded, written for, and or produced 14 albums as broad in style as my teaching, and I'm certified by the SC board of education as a professional music educator. I hold a BA in Classical Guitar and a BME in Instrumental Music from Anderson University—the school where I’m also currently working on my Masters of Music Education. I began teaching guitar at this Music and Arts Building (Draisens/Edwards) in 2002 and remained for 13 years. However, the past eight years I’ve been teaching fretted strings in the public school system, but now I’ve returned to the same teaching studio room I learned guitar back in 1987 and taught guitar in the 2000’s ready to build the program back to, then push past, it’s highest student enrollment.
