Education: Cur’Sandra was a previous band member at Meridian High school. She graduated high school in 2020 and since then she have been continuing her education at Meridian Community College.
She is also a previous graduate from MCC with an associate in arts as a university transfer. She currently spent time playing the drums and auxiliary percussion in Dimensions band which she is currently in her second year. She plans on furthering her education and receiving a bachelor’s degree in music education.
Performance Experience: In her years of marching, she has been nominated and participated in many concert clinics from middle school through her years of high school. One of her greatest achievements is always making first band in concert clinics while holding a spot in the top 5 chairs in concert season at her school. She did place in top 5 in her category during her time at concert clinics as well. But since joining Dimensions, she has gained an interest in wanting to share her love for music and drums with others
Teaching Experience: In the future Cur’Sandra plans on becoming a composer alongside being a professional musician and a master instructor of percussion.

Hi! I’m Cur’Sandra Gowdy. I played the snare drum in the Meridian Wildcats marching band and auxiliary percussion during concert season. I have also spent quite some time playing the drums and auxiliary in the Dimensions band at MCC. I am excited to share the knowledge and skills that I have learned here at Music and Arts. I also look forward to helping individuals get started in their musical journey. Hope to see you soon!
