About Dani Schroeder

Dani Schroeder
Dani Schroeder
Music Teacher, Professional
Location: Asheville, NC
Speaks: English
Instructs: Music Theory, Piano, Voice
Education: In 2022, I graduated with my degree in Piano Performance from Montreat College. I hope to attend graduate school in the future and pursue a doctorate in musicology, hopefully resulting in a collegiate educator position.
Performance Experience: I've had the pleasure to perform Ellen Taffe Zwilich's Peanuts Gallery piano concerto in 2021, and in 2022 I conducted the Montreat College Chamber Orchestra in Brian Balmages Blue Ridge Reel.
Teaching Experience: I've taught piano to elementary-aged students throughout high school, and I have experience teaching to students with special needs. Additionally, I've tutored college-level music theory and music history, and believe that these two components are useful to music students of any age.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that every student should leave a lesson with the ability to play something new. Music should be exciting for everyone regardless of age, and I strive to create and foster the passion and love it takes to pursue a musical instrument.
