About Daniel Bellamy

Get to know Daniel Bellamy
Daniel graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2019 with his Bachelor of Music with an Outside Field in Business Administration, where he studied piano, trumpet, and percussion. During his time at Carson-Newman, Daniel performed on a variety of instruments including trumpet, French horn, bass and acoustic guitar, piano, and voice, as part of the Carson-Newman wind ensemble, jazz ensemble, piano ensemble, pit orchestra, marching band, concert band, brass quintet, and men’s choir. In the spring of 2021, he graduated from Illinois State University with his Master of Music in Piano Performance and Jazz Performance, while also teaching undergraduate group piano as a graduate group piano teaching assistant. Before graduating, Daniel was nominated and inducted for lifetime membership in the national music honor society Pi Kappa Lambda by the Illinois State University School of Music. Throughout his education, he has maintained an active teaching schedule and piano studio of online, in-person, beginner, advanced, young, adult, and collegiate students. Currently, Daniel is an MBA candidate at the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia, where he is also serving as the university piano instructor and choir accompanist.
