Get to know Daniel Seymour
Mr. Daniel Seymour has recently graduated from the University of Delaware (UD) with his Master of Music degree on full scholarship. While at UD, Mr. Seymour was Concertmaster for the University of Delaware Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, and the 1st violinist in the Graduate String Quartet. Most recently, he has performed Stravinsky’s “The Soldier's Tale”, Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” with the UD Opera as Concertmaster, Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” as Concertmaster, with Xiang Gao as soloist, and performed at Carnegie Hall with the UD Chamber Orchestra as Assistant Concertmaster. As a teacher, Mr. Seymour was a core instructor for the Little Masters Project, a community outreach music education initiative, that offered free musical instruments and lessons to lower income families with children. He has over 10 years of teaching experience, having taught privately from his home, but also through great organizations such as the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, Blakemore School of Music, and now Music & Arts, to name a few.
