Get to know Darren Lovio

I have been playing music for 30 years in various rock, blues, dance/funk and original bands in the Austin and Los Angeles areas.

I have taught guitar lessons for the last seven years focusing on improvisation, theory, ear training, music reading, pickstyle, fingerstyle and slide playing.

I enjoy teaching and watching students progress and grow as musicians. I tailor my lesson plans to the individual student's interests and skill level but can

also follow a school curriculum. Music is my passion and I continue to pursue other styles of playing like classical, flamenco and jazz.
