About David Gu

David Gu, Musician cellist & Cello Teacher, has performed as a creative soloist, recitalist, symphony orchestra musician and chamber musician across DMV area, including various performances at Symphony Concert halls, local Christian churches, high-end senior living facility and private events, he has performed with professional orchestras at world-class venues, such as Strathmore music center, The Maryland Theatre, Richmond Altria Theater. He accomplished his Master of Music degree and Graduate performance degree from Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. He also performs regularly with local musicians for solo and chamber music performances. Besides performances, he is also a string specialist and music educator. He has a wide range of experience performing and teaching. He enjoys sharing the joy of music through performing and teaching.
