About Andy Svoboda

Andy has been teaching drums and percussion for Music and Arts since 1998.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree in Music Performance from the University of South Dakota.  Early in his career, Andy taught at a number of area schools including Lassiter, Kennesaw Mountain, and North Springs High Schools teaching front ensemble and battery for marching band, coaching for concert and symphonic bands, conducting percussion ensemble, and providing private instruction.  In addition to providing school-oriented instruction for snare drum and keyboard percussion, Andy teaches drum set in a variety of styles for a wide range of skill sets and for students of every age.
