      Teaching Philosophy: Dayna aims to instill a deep love for music in each one of her students. She believes that each and every student is unique, and thus requires their own unique way of learning. She takes a more holistic approach to teaching, making sure that you get all of the foundational knowledge you need, while guiding her students to use music as a tool to express themselves.

      Get to know Dayna N.

      Dayna has been both playing and studying music for a total of 23 years. Beginning her career in classical and orchestral music, she later transitioned into the world of songwriting and music production upon studying in the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College. Her areas of expertise include violin, viola, guitar, piano, songwriting, and music production. She has extensive performance knowledge from performing with her band in and around NYC, and loves to prepare her students for the stage.  Additionally, she has sent many of her students to NYSSMA to achieve perfect scores, and is trained in the Suzuki method. Lessons with Dayna will be focused on building a strong and lasting foundation in both technique and practice habits. She takes a holistic approach to teaching, and aims to gives you all of the tools you need in order to break through any plateaus in your playing.
