About Dee Newberger
Get to know Dee Newberger
Ms. Newberger was born into a family of musicians. At age six, she started to study cello, and entered the Central Conservatory of Music. After graduating with honors, she continued her cello studies. Ms. Newberger holds a Performance Diploma from Central Conservatory of Music, a B.M. in Music Performance from University of Bridgeport, and M.M. in Orchestral Conducting from Shenandoah Conservatory.
As a music educator, Ms. Newberger has served as orchestra director in the public schools of Maryland for over a decade. Ms. Newberger serves as guest conductor and adjudicator in various Maryland and Pennsylvania counties. An active performer, Ms. Newberger appears frequently as a cellist with various professional orchestras and ensembles.
