· 3rd generation 5-string banjo player, playing Scruggs, melodic and mountain techniques
· 2nd generation acoustic guitar player; play a song the first lesson
· Over 60 years experience performing and teaching
· Over the years, appeared and performed on TV morning shows in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi
· Assisted with a bluegrass music workshop for teachers at the Alabama Bluegrass Music Association’s 2018 Convention in Bessemer, AL.
