Get to know Dorothy Griffin
Dorothy Griffin is a classically trained guitarist based in the Northern Virginia area. She has received her degree, Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance, from Mannes School of Music at The New School in New York City where she studied with Frederic Hand and Michael Newman. In addition to her education and performance career she is a dedicated educator. She is trained in The Suzuki Method as a Suzuki Guitar Teacher and enjoys working with young and beginner guitarists. Dorothy has experience teaching students of all ages, skill levels and loves teaching classical, rock and popular music styles.
