Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy is begins with learning the fundamental mechanics required to play percussion instruments. Learning how we approach instruments is key to navigating our instruments. It's also very important to have students play with music as soon as they are ready. Studying the context in which we play helps us understand our instruments better and helps make us better musicians. Music is intended to be a blast!
