About Dwana

I’m a Louisiana girl who’s recently made Kansas my home. It all started when I was 7 when I had my first piano lesson. I was hooked and been playing since then. I have also played in school bands, jazz bands and church services over the years. I have a deep love for piano, and a love for teaching. These passions collided, resulting in 30+ years of piano teaching thus far. I enjoy teaching all ages, from the very young to the elderly. It’s never too late to learn. Over the years I’ve taught private lessons, group lessons at music stores, churches and educational centers. I’ve been involved in music teachers associations and participated in several festivals and competitions. I look forward to meeting new faces in the area and sharing my love for the piano
