Teaching Philosophy: I believe everyone from different backgrounds and life experiences have the ability to create wonderful music, they just need the tools. It is my philosophy as teacher that it is my job to equip you with the toolset needed to become a successful independent musician.
Get to know Elise
Elise Peters is a Clarinet Performance graduate of Capital University. As an active performer in many of the Capital University ensembles, Elise has played in various large and small ensemble groups on campus. Some of these include the Capital University Symphonic Winds, Wind Symphony, Orchestra, Clarinet choir, and other small chamber groups. Elise notably performed in the Capital University's Symphonic Winds’ very first showcase at Carnegie Hall in March of 2022.
Elise enjoys playing clarinet music of all kinds and exploring lesser-known pieces written for the instrument. She has served as the Junior Winds Clarinet Coach for two years and participates in various youth music summer camps throughout the state of Ohio. Prior to attending Capital University, Elise was an active performer in the Whetstone High School Performing Arts. In her free time Elise enjoys resting with her cats and playing video games with friends.
