Teaching Experience: I have been teaching piano lessons for nearly two years.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that students should be pushed to achieve their goals but not so much that they will hate music. Additionally, I want to work around students' schedules so that they are able to stick with music. Whether the student wants to dip their feet into it without committing a great deal of time to it or they want to get prepared to study music in college I want to accommodate them.

Hello, I'm Emma. My music learning experience was not conventional; I started teaching myself piano from books and a computer game when I was eleven years old, and it wasn't until I was 13 that I was able to start getting lessons. Fast forward to today and I have a degree in music that was mostly paid for through a music scholarship I received from my music college audition. I love seeing the effect that learning to play an instrument has on my students, whether it be less arthritis in their hands from all the stretching the piano forces musicians to do or simply making life seem more beautiful.
