With a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Messiah College and over five years of teaching experience, Eric G. Tashji is a dedicated music educator specializing in woodwind instruments, including flute, clarinet, and saxophone.
Eric has a proven track record of success as a music teacher in both classroom and one-on-one settings. As an Instrumental Music Teacher with the Oakland Public School District and an Elementary General Music Teacher at Sporting Hill Elementary, he developed engaging lesson plans that covered music theory, history, and instrument technique. His experience also includes working as a Woodwind Instructor for the Indian Hills Marching Band, where he guided students in mastering breath control, tone production, and instrumental technique.
With strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of music pedagogy, Eric tailors his teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student. He employs various music education technologies and instructional strategies to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.
