About Erica Moser
Get to know Erica Moser
Erica Moser holds a Master of Music in Conducting and Bachelor degrees in Music Education and Performance Honors (percussion) from Syracuse University. A multi-instrumentalist, Erica grew up playing violin and piano, and later added percussion and viola. While at Syracuse University, she was a two-time concerto soloist and recipient of the Simeon Popov Memorial Award.
As an active instrumentalist in Central New York, Mrs. Moser has been a pit musician for over 50 regional and community theatre shows. She also spends her time as a frequent audition and rehearsal accompanist around Syracuse and was recently nominated for a Syracuse Area Live Theatre Award for Music Directing.
Erica is a music educator in the Syracuse City School District, where she teaches band and orchestra. She has served on the district's committee to develop arts education for special needs students, and specializes in adaptive music education. A frequent composer and arranger as well, Mrs. Moser has had pieces performed by the Syracuse Symphony Percussion Ensemble, collegiate marching bands, and schools across upstate New York.
