Performance Experience: My most notable performances have been as a soloist (piano) with the Stonybrook Symphony Orchestra at the Staller Center, participant in the all-state piano competition in Rochester, NY, member of the all-state Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble, a Times Square backing band for a Sikh Celebration, I've performed all around the country with the Chris Ruben Band, have been a church organist all around long island, weddings, accompanist for countless soloists, and many other performances.
Teaching Experience: I have 10 years of teaching experience under my belt so far and have taught people of all ages. skill levels, and styles. I specialize in classical piano/cello but can also teach pop, rock, funk, blues, and many other collaborative genres.
Teaching Philosphy: You only get what you give! I strive to create an environment that is an effective learning chamber for each individual student. I keep the energy high and make sure each student is engaged with what they're learning so that piano doesn't become just another school subject. Music is a universal language and teaching others how to communicate confidently is something that simply can't be beat!
