Get to know Euna Joh
Euna Joh received her Bachelor of Music Degree (BM) in Piano Performance and in BM in Music Composition at West Virginia University, where she was the recipient of the top undergraduate scholarship in Music. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Music Composition at Manhattan School of Music, under Dr. Reiko Füting.
Euna strives to provide a well-rounded music education while encouraging the student’s personal interests. Her outlook is that music is meant to express oneself and be enjoyed and shared. Instilling a curiosity and love of music in her students is her goal as a teacher. As a composer, her compositions have been premiered and performed in the United States and South Korea. In 2019, her first string quartet piece, Love Languages, was selected to be read by internationally-renowned JACK Quartet in New York City.
