Felix is a dedicated music teacher with a passion for helping students of all ages and skill levels develop their musical abilities. With a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Clarinet Performance from the University of Hartford, they have a strong foundation in both theory and performance.
Felix has been active in the local school systems, including teaching at East Hartford High School's Band Program and leading band and orchestra rehearsals at Simsbury High School. They have also taught at the University of Hartford Magnet School, where they instructed Pre-K students in general music class. Additionally, Felix has been a private instructor for the Artist in Residence Program in Barre, MA, working with students to improve their technique and musicality.
Felix has 14 years of flute experience, 11 years of clarinet and saxophone experience, and 3 years of oboe experience. They have performance experience with NCCA at Jean's Playhouse in Lincoln NH, the Hartt Orchestra, and the Hartt Wind Ensemble.
As a music educator, Felix is skilled at working with students of all ages and musical levels. They are committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment that fosters growth and creativity.
