Get to know Georgie Monahan
I began taking guitar lessons in high school at this very same Music & Arts location - life comes full circle!
Music has always been a huge part of my life - my uncles and brother got me hooked on both classic and contemporary rock at a young age. I fall more in love with music the more I discover.
When I teach, I like to get straight to the point - learning is best done when enjoying oneself, and learning music is no exception. One of the first things I'll do when teaching someone is to set a realistic goal of a song to learn. This helps give the student the self-motivation to practice and continue to learn.
