Performance Experience: Percussion Ensembles, Drum Set Player , Trumpet Player in Concert Bands, Dinner Theatre and Show Bands, Music Recording studios, and Drumlines.
Teaching Experience: Drum Set Lessons, Marching Percussion Drumlines, Band Director in the Public Schools for 35 years: All levels in Band, and Trumet Lessons for Middle School Levels.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe music can be a fun, rewarding and meaningful part of a person's life. Learning how to read music on your chosen instrument as well as how to improvise can be a part of a musician's life for years to come.

I have enjoyed music for many years, starting in Middle School Band, High School Band and then in College Bands and ensembles. I have played Drum Set professionally in many bands.
I have been a Band Director for 35 years in North Carolina, South Carolina and in California.
