Greg Koenig is an multi-instrumentalist, music educator, and advocate for arts. He received two Master of Music degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. First in guitar performance, then later in music education. Greg received his bachelor of Music from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University. Further guitar study includes countless master classes, the Alexandria Guitar Festival, Eastman Summer Programs, and a provost scholar at the Beijing Central Conservatory. Greg is currently a guitar teacher for the Clark County School District, a part time guitar instructor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and teaches Music Appreciation and the History of Rock at the College of Southern Nevada. Greg has actively promoted guitar and guitar education with the Nevada Music Educators Association, American String Teachers Association, Aaron Shearer Foundation, Guitar Foundation of America, and Guitar Las Vegas.
