Teaching Philosophy: Harriet believes a close relationship with music can harness and heal the soul. While reared in a rigid classical environment, she has a more laid-back teaching style in which she cultivates a lesson plan based on the desires of each student. Learning an instrument should be fun and enriching, and go at the pace of each student, while ensuring that they are getting a solid foundation. She is happy to teach a variety of genres and prefers to teach a well-rounded set of pieces.
