ANICA HEEYUN LEE (voice, piano) graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a double major, achieving Bachelors of Music in both Voice Performance and Music Education. While attending Eastman, she attained broad experience teaching in many Rochester area schools from preschool through Elementary School, Middle School and High School. She was also a Secondary Vocal Teacher at Eastman, providing weekly voice lessons to vocal performance undergraduate students. In addition, Ms. Lee has numerous experiences on stages in concerts and opera performances. Her opera roles include Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Fortuna ((L’incoronazione di Poppea). She also sang in the Eastman Chorale, Repertoire Singers and Women’s Chorus at the Eastman Theatre. She has also performed on stage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the winner of the Asian American Music Society. Not only being an accomplished singer, Ms.Lee is an experienced pianist who works with students from all different levels. Ms.Lee has been teaching private lessons in Ashburn, Leesburg and Rochester since 2011.
Ms. Lee loves to teach students of all ages and abilities. She believes that learning music should be fun and enjoyable, and it is her mission to guide and provide appropriate tools to educate the students who will always have a lifelong passion for the art no matter their long-term goals.
