About Holly Sims

Holly Sims is one of our strings teachers at Music and Arts, located in Bowling Green KY. Holly specializes in Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass. She has been playing music for 12 years on bass, 4 years on cello, and violin.

Holly has been teaching students of all ages in private instruction and in group classes.

Holly is the founder of The St. Paul Orchestra in Leitchfield Ky, and is a member of the National Association for Music Education and American String Teacher Association. Holly graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education from Western Kentucky University in 2021.

 She has had the honor of performing with Grayson County Bands and Orchestra, Brescia University Symphony, the Symphony Orchestra at WKU, WKU Wind Ensemble, WKU Symphonic Band, the Big Red Marching Band, and various other community groups. She has been asked to perform at several events including All State orchestra in 2016 and 2017, American Choral Director Association national conference, Kentucky Music Education Association conference, Cure bowl game, First responders bowl game, and Brescia University.
